I have been searching for a recipe, walnut-dipped shrimp, I hope this is the one. We eat at the Dynasty Chinese restaurant and they have walnut-dipped shrimp on the bar, it is the most delicious food I have ever eaten. I am excited to try this recipe, the photo resembles the same.

Hi Emmalee - Sweetened condensed milk is the one to go with in this recipe. The small amount called for in the dish will carry just the right amount of sweetness throughout the dish. Hope this helps.

It's on tonight's menu, but I would like to clarify one thing, please. In your description of the recipe you mentioned "sweetened condensed milk", but the ingredient list says "condensed milk", Which is correct?

Hmmm.....mayo, honey and condensed milk?! Who would ever thought a dish looks simple like this could contain such wicked ingredients! However, I have to admit, whatever recipe you've decided to post here, I am ready to give it a try!

Thanks again!

Your photography is fantastic! I am looking forward to making the Honey Walnut Shrimp early next week. (I have already candied the walnuts). However I won't buy a can of condensed milk to use only 1 1/2 teaspoons to thin mayonnaise.
